Tremella polysaccharide is the primary active component in Tremella fuciformis, derived from submerged fermentation spores and mycelium of the fungus. It is purified to obtain a heteropolysaccharide. The product appears as a white or off-white powder, readily soluble in water, easily dispersible in glycerol and propylene glycol, but insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone.
