The R&D center was established in 2014 and is the company's key development department. In 2017, it was rated as Jining Engineering Polysaccharide Engineering Laboratory. The existing laboratory area is 1260 square meters. There are more than 120 sets of various types of test equipment, including 12 sets of precision instruments, such as high-performance liquid chromatograph, gas chromatograph, atomic absorption spectrometer, infrared spectrometer, automatic fermenter system and other equipment, and the original value of fixed assets of experimental equipment is 8.436 million yuan. There are 119 fixed researchers and 10 mobile researchers, including 10 doctors, 17 masters, 70% bachelor degree or above, more than 20 people who are specialized in hyaluronic acid research and development for more than 10 years, all graduated from Shandong University, Jiangnan University, Nanjing University of Technology and other key universities. The existing test conditions can meet the technical development and quality testing requirements of functional polysaccharide products such as hyaluronic acid. Since its establishment, the R&D center has been engaged in more than 30 R&D projects, and most of the R&D results have been transformed. At present, the company has applied for 86 patents, including 27 inventions, 56 utility models and 3 designs, forming the core competitiveness of the company's intellectual property rights.
